INFINI™ offers an alternative for dark or tanned skinned patients, who until now, had limited energy-based treatment choices for wrinkle reduction and other skin enhancements. INFINI™ is a low downtime alternative to fractional CO2 and other ablative skin treatments, maximizing results while minimizing patient discomfort.
INFINI™ uses a high-intensity focused RF (radio frequency) system to precisely deliver energy deep into
the dermis (below the skin) without the worry of thermal damage to the surrounding tissue. With the heat occurring under the surface of the skin, this procedure is considered non-ablative resulting in a more comfortable treatment and faster healing. Our physicians insert insulated gold-coated microneedle tips to the treatment area and built-in ComfortFlow™ technology enables smoother penetration via sequential microneedle insertion. Energy-based systems like INFINI™ work by stimulating the body’s natural healing response to the thermal (heat) injury induced by the lasers which stimulate the production of collagen in the dermal layer.
The collagen continues to build over several weeks after each treatment; the skin becomes more youthful as wrinkles and other surfaces become less visible. Complete control over treatment depth and energy levels enables a multi-layered approach for truly customized treatments, regardless of skin type or tan. Results are maximized in a single treatment and subsequent redness is easily camouflaged.
Infini can treat a wide range of skin conditions associated with aging, including wrinkles, pigmentary, and other textural changes. In addition, the Infini laser tightens the skin and helps decrease lines and pores. Our physicians will help determine which treatment course is best to meet your goals, but typically patients receive between 1-3 treatments.
INFINI™ treatments are performed in-office using topical anesthesia in most cases. One treatment takes between 15-60 minutes depending upon the goal. After the treatment, INFINI™ has a relatively short recovery period and there are no activity or sun restrictions at all. Most patients find that they can wear cover-up and be back at work 1-2 days after their procedure when residual redness and swelling have dissipated. Results can be seen quickly, but your collagen will continue to build for 4-6 weeks, with improvements being seen as long as 6 months after the treatment.
