PROCEDURE
Subnovii Plasma Pen treatments are performed by Subnovii certified master aestheticians. The treatment effectively takes advantage of the fine layer of ionized gas, or plasma, that exists along the surface of your skin. Like other plasma devices, Subnovii emits energy that instantly transfers to a precise spot on the treated area. A sealed wound is created, and energy is delivered to the tissue just below the wound to stimulate your body’s natural production of rejuvenating collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid.
The tip of the plasma device never actually touches the skin throughout treatment.
RESULTS AND RECOVERY
Immediately after Subnovii treatment, patients may experience mild swelling, scabbing, and tenderness around treated areas. This is normal and concerns typically resolve on their own within a few days of treatment.
While there is no formal downtime or recovery period associated with Subnovii treatment, patients should be aware that skin may be sensitive and take about 7-14 days to completely heal.
Most patients are able to see the results of their Subnovii treatments after just one treatment session, however additional treatments may be recommended by the provider to achieve patient-specific results.
