ThermiSmooth® Body is a non-invasive skin tightening, body contouring, and cellulite-removal treatment that uses the healing power of radiofrequency energy to tighten, tone, and rejuvenate the skin on nearly any area of the body. These areas include the chest, breasts, arms, abdomen, flanks, back, hips, buttocks, thighs, knees, calves, and ankles.

During treatment, radiofrequency energy is carefully passed over the patient’s desired treatment area. This energy is said to feel like a gentle, hot stone massage. As radiofrequency energy passes through the uppermost layers
of the skin, it is absorbed by the skin’s inner layers as heat. This heat stimulates the contraction of collagen fibers, causing the skin to become tighter and more toned. It is also absorbed by the skin’s others tissues, triggering the body’s natural process of healing and further rejuvenating the skin’s appearance.

Because ThermiSmooth® Body uses multiple precise methods of temperature control during the treatment, patients experience absolutely no downtime. Typically, between three and six treatments administered over a period of six to eight weeks are required for patients to achieve dramatic results.
