Like ThermiSmooth® Body, ThermiSmooth® Face is a non-invasive skin renewal treatment that uses radiofrequency energy to gently stimulate healing within the skin. It can be used to address wrinkles, skin laxity, and textural inconsistencies on the forehead, eyes, cheeks, mouth, and neck.
During treatment, radio-frequency energy is carefully targeted at the face using a precise ThermiSmooth® Face applicator. As this radio-frequency energy passes through the uppermost layers of the skin, it is absorbed by the skin’s tissues and proteins as heat. As collagen proteins absorb this energy, they begin to strengthen and tighten the skin, causing it to become smoother and more evenly textured.
Because ThermiSmooth® Face utilizes the same dual method of temperature control that ThermiSmooth® Body does, patients still experience absolutely no downtime when undergoing treatment. Between three and six sessions are typically needed for patients to achieve dramatic results.
