Dr. Song also holds a clinical instructor position at the University of Washington and is active in teaching medical students and resident physicians in-training. Dr. Song is recognized as a key opinion leader (KOL) in psoriasis and atopic dermatitis and speaks nationally to educate other health care providers. He has been published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and continues to be a regular contributor to the dermatology literature.
Dr. Song’s main clinical interest is in medical dermatology, particularly psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, vitiligo, alopecia areata and hidradenitis suppurativa.
He believes that the best health outcomes come from shared decision making between the patient and physician. Dr. Song strives to help patients understand not only their condition but all of their treatment options which empowers them to make the decision that they are most comfortable with.
