Patrick Whitman, DO

Dr. Whitman grew up in a small town outside of Charlotte, NC. He attended Davidson
College where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Music. He went on to work in the
healthcare field in various capacities for several years prior to attending the Edward Via
College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, VA, where he received his Doctorate of
Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Whitman has a passion for surgical, cosmetic, and general medical dermatology. He
has authored several peer-reviewed publications in highly regarded journals such as the
Journal of Dermatologic Treatment. He also has a special interest in academic dermatology
and plans to invest time and energy in medical education and mentoring.
